Summary
I have heard of the book for a long time, but never got a chance to sit down and read it. I didn’t even know it was an anti-war book, for some reasons, I thought it was a comedy book.
The way Kurt Vonnegut switches between present and past events is fascinating. Perhaps, it’s a way to make sense of the senseless war.
The feeling of powerlessness and resignation is present in the book. If future, past and present are predetermined, all you have to do is to act as it goes.
So it goes.
