I need to install DSFix to run the Dark Souls 1 Prepared to Die version in 60fps.
There are multiple instances when I got frame drop, it was most noticeable during the end game.
To switch around a bit, I played a tanky sorcerer. The early game was more difficult than melee because I didn’t have enough spells to clear areas. So I used balder side sword instead of spells, until I rescued Logan. After getting homing soul and soul spear, the game became a lot easier.
Coming from later games, I missed the bonfire teleport. It was fun at first running around from one area to another, but it quickly became tedious. I was cursed in the sewer, which resulted in a long walk from the sewer to the surface.
